Should I use my work email or personal email to purchase?
Since you have unlimited access to the on-demand online course, it's better to use your personal email. Even if you change job, you can still access the course with your personal email.
What types of credit cards do you accept?
Visa, Master, American Express, Discover & Diners, China UnionPay, Japan Credit Bureau are all accepted.
Will there be any additional tax adding onto the price during checking out?
No. If you are located in Canada, the 13% HST is included in the price. For any other country, no tax is charged.
How do I access my purchased courses?
After the successful payment, you will be directed to create a password for your account, and taken to the library page to access your courses.
In the future, please click on the "Log In" button at top right corner of the website to access the courses you purchased.
Can I get a formal receipt for my purchase?
Please email [email protected] with your registration email address, we will email you the formal receipt in PDF.
What is the refund policy?
For on-demand online course, if you cancel within 30 days AND have not accessed beyond module 1 of the course, you will receive 100% refund. If you cancel after 30 days or after you accessed beyond Module 1 of the course, there is no refund.
If you purchase a bundle of multiple courses, there is no partial refund for individual course within the bundle. If you cancel within 30 days AND have not accessed beyond module 1 of any one of the courses in the bundle, you will receive 100% refund for the entire bundle.
For live online course
If you cancel one week before the first class, you will receive 100% refund.
If you actually attend the class, and cancel right after the first 4-hour class (Module 1), you will receive 100% refund.
In any other circumstances, there is no refund. You could make up your missing classes in a future round when spots are available.
For monthly coaching community subscription, you can cancel within your account by yourself at any month. You will not be charged starting from next billing cycle.
We have few employees to take the same course, how do I register multiple people?
You need to purchase for one employee at a time. Each person needs to set up his or her own account to access the courses.
I will be taking the course, can I make payment through my employer's (partner's...) credit card?
Yes. When you make credit card payment, you do not need to provide credit card holder's name. However you do need to provide an email address, which will be used in the future to log into your account.
Upon successful payment, you will need to provide your name and set password to create an account to access your courses.
I'm in Canada, can I pay in Canadian Dollars?
For the four on-demand online courses, yes, you can pay in Canadian dollars.
In each of the four course pages, there are two options to sign up the course, one is in USD dollar, and another in Canadian dollar.
The live online courses are only available to pay in US dollar. If you really wish to pay in Canadian dollars, please email [email protected] to arrange that.

Which Excel version is used in the teaching?
Windows based Microsoft 365 version.
We are covering the most important and practical Excel features and functionalities. Most of the minor version differences have no impact to the teaching and learning.
SE2 course has one bonus module at the end covering important new functions introduced in Excel 2021 and Microsoft 365 version of Excel.
In SE3 course, Microsoft 365 version and Excel 2021 onwards versions do have additional capabilities than the older perpetual licensed versions. This course is taught with both old and new versions users in mind. There is one bonus module at the end to cover the important new functions introduced in the new version of Excel.
How long do I have access to the on-demand online courses I purchased?
You have unlimited access to the on-demand online course.
The Super Excel Coaching Community is monthly subscription service. You have access to them as long as you are subscribed. You can cancel your subscription at any month.
Live Online Excel Courses
What software do you use to deliver live online Excel course?
My company laptop does not allow me to download and install Zoom software, what should I do?
You can use web browser to access the Zoom application. Although it's recommended to use Zoom application for better performance, the Zoom web client is perfectly fine for our Excel class purpose.
Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Chromium Edge all support Zoom web client.
Which Excel version should I have on my computer to attend the live online class?
First, you must use a Windows based Excel application, and not Mac version.
The instructor will use Microsoft 365 version to teach. For you to attend, you can use 2013, 2016, 2019, 2021, or Microsoft 365 version. They are all good.
When do I receive course materials?
You will receive first class training Excel files and course eBook in PDF few days before the first class. The rest will follow after each class.
Student Learning Support
I am a student of your free course (or not a student at all), can I subscribe to the Super Excel Coaching Community to get coaching support?
No. Membership to the Super Excel Coaching Community is only for people who enrolled in one of the paid full courses.
I can only coach you and guide you when you have the foundational Excel skills.
Can I ask Excel questions for the topics I do not understand?
Yes. You have potentially few different channels to ask questions.
With the on-demand online course, you can ask me questions at the comment section of each lesson, and I will answer each and every one of your questions that are directly related to the materials of the corresponding lessons.
If you subscribe to the Super Excel Coaching Community, you can ask me questions in the community how to solve your real life Excel problems by applying what you learned in the course.
Can I ask Excel questions not directly related to the topics covered in the course I took?
At the comment section of each lesson of the on-demand online course, I will only answer questions directly related to the topics covered in the corresponding lesson of that course.
In the Super Excel Coaching Community, you will be coached to solve the problem. This means:
If solving the problem requiring only the skills you learned in the courses you have taken, you will be guided how to combine them to solve the problem.
If solving the problem requiring skills and knowledges you did not learn, you will be guided what topics and skills you need to learn to solve that problem.
No teaching of new topics. Here, what you get is coaching.
In the Coaching Community, other members may answer your questions though, which is more of a form of peer discussion.
Depending on the questions, sometimes, I may hold live video Zoom sessions in the community to answer questions that are hard to communicate via text.
Can I ask questions requiring long time to explain?
If the question is complex, requires long time to explain, and back and forth to clarify, then it's more of a project.

After the initial 90-day access to the Super Excel Coaching Community, is there a possibility to stay in this community and get further support?
Yes. When you are logged in to your account, there is option for you to subscribe to the Super Excel Coaching Community monthly. You can also cancel your subscription within your account at any month.

Am I going to receive a certificate after completing a live online Excel course?
There is no test within the live online class. Instructor will assess through your class presence, engagement, questions, answers, practice, feedback. You will receive a certificate of completion in PDF if you are genuinely putting efforts to learn during the classes.
Am I going to receive a certificate after completing an on-demand online Excel course?
You will receive a certificate of completion in PDF upon passing the test at the end of the course. If you fail, you can retake the test for unlimited number of times.
Please note the test is designed in a way that only people who truly studied and mastered the knowledge and skills can pass. Despite you have unlimited number of times to retake the test, the chance for somebody without true knowledge to pass the test is much smaller than 1 out of 1 trillion.
